Day 01 :
DelhiLotus Temple : The Baha'i Mashriqu'l-Adhkar, better known as the "Lotus Temple is shaped like a half opened Lotus flower, is open to all faiths and is an ideal place for meditation and obtaining peace and tranquility. The lotus flower signifies purity and peace, a representation of the Manifestation of God, to the people of India.
Qutub-Minar : Qutub Minar in red and buff stand stone is the highest tower in India. It has a diameter of 14.32m at the base and about 2.75m on the top with a height of 72.5m. Qutb-u'd-Din Aibak laid the foundation in 1199 AD. The minar was said to have been built to celebrate the victory of Mohammed Ghori, the invader from Afghanistan, over the Rajputs in 1192.
Rajghat : Rajghat is the place where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. A memorial to the father of the nation, Rajghat is a simple square platform with a black memorial stone with "Hey Ram" inscribed on it.
Day 02 :
Delhi - AgraAgra Fort : The fort is also known as Lal Qila, Fort Rouge and Red Fort of Agra. It is about 2.5 km northwest of its much more famous sister monument, the Taj Mahal.
Taj Mahal : The Taj Mahal is a monument located in Agra in India, constructed between 1631 and 1654 by a workforce of more than twenty thousand. Taj Mahal in Agra is a landmark, which has been inducted into the list of the Seven Wonders of the World, owing to its unique architectural beauty and historic relevance.
Day 03 :
Agra - JaipurFatehpur Sikri : was built by the Mughal Emperor, Akbar. He had planned this city as his capital but shortage of water compelled him to abandon the city. Today this ghost city has a population of about 30,000 and is the best example of the culmination of Hindu and Muslim architecture.
Hawa Mahal : Built in 1799, by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh the 'Hawa Mahal', Palace of the Wind is a five storey building of unusual architecture designed by Lal Chand Usta, is a stunning example of Rajput artistry made of red and pink sand stone, beautifully outlined with white borders and motif's painted with quick lime.
Day 04 :
Jaipur - DelhiAmer Fort : Amer Fort also called the Amer Fort can either approach the by road or take an elephant ride, which though is quite slow yet is a lot of fun. The fort is built with white marble and red sandstone and look even more attractive because of the Maota Lake in the foreground. The fort in itself is a beautiful sight to behold but as one looks on the fort with its clear reflection on the lake in the front, one cannot help but wonder if it is a dream or a beautiful illusion.
